In 2022 we have been awarded a very special recognition from Gambero Rosso,an organization whose aim is to exalt the real quality of the best Gelateria in Italy, ranking them from one to three cones. It was an honor this year for us to find place the Gambero Rosso Guide. And we are so proud to enter the Guide with even two cones on three. This is how Gambero describe us. Rufus’ Gelato is an experience to be lived consciously: Artisanal Gelato produced with local raw milk, local fruits chosen according to seasonality, low environmental impact eggs. The result is a good and tasty gelato, but also healthy and respectful of nature. All of this while maintaining a wide choice in a rich and colorful window with fruit Sorbets and milk based Gelatos. Excellent is the one inspired to Sicilian traditional Cassata, Profumo di Sicilia, with sheep ricotta cheese, variegated with dark chocolate, crumble, candies and pistachio grain. Gastronomic Gelato beetroot and Roman Pecorino cheese deserves to be particularly stressed. Strawberry grape, available only at the end of summer. That too deserves to be enjoyed. Sweet and tasty to the right point. Curious the double malt red beer sorbet. The real treat was to find the Nutraceutical gelatos, such as the chick peas and red Apple sorbet.
